So how do you go about finding the best MFP for your department?

1) Research

Check out our catalog on the University of Iowa Purchasing website. This pricing has been especially negotiated for the University of Iowa and is significantly reduced from standard MSRP. Look through the catalog to see what your department would need in terms of print speed, finishing options (stapling or hole-punch), paper capacity, and even fax capability.

2) Select

After researching the all-in-one printers in the University catalog, make your selection and approve it with the key users within your department. Contact the University of Iowa Purchasing office to move forward with the order.

3) Order The Equipment

You can also order your new copy/print equipment through the University Purchasing office (purchase or lease options available). Once the order has been approved by the University and confirmed by Laser Resources, we will order the equipment.

4) Delivery, Installation, and Training

After the order is placed, it typically takes around 2-3 weeks for the equipment to arrive in our offices to be set up and tested. After that, we will schedule an installation time that is convenient for you and your staff. Installation usually takes about 45 minutes, with user training taking 10 minutes. Then, you’re ready to use your new multifunction copier!
