Laser Resources, Proud To Be An Official Partner…

Almost two years ago, we wrangled together a team of Laser Resources employees from our executive leadership and our sales, service, customer support units. Our goal was to define our company’s core values as we continued to grow and add team members. After several meetings, we decided upon eight core values that identified everything we wanted people to think of when they thought of Laser Resources. One of those eight values reads like this:

“To be an active participant in the Iowa communities where we serve and live.”

Being an Iowa company, it is important to us to be active in our Iowa communities. We’re proud to be based here in Des Moines and we’re happy to serve customers throughout the state of Iowa. So, we decided to get more active in things that our Iowa communities care about.

Iowa Wild and Des Moines Buccaneers

The days are getting colder and darker, but that’s not all bad: it also means hockey is back in central Iowa! Laser Resources is excited to be involved in the return of professional hockey to Iowa with the Iowa Wild. If you happen to catch a game this winter, see if you can spot on our logo near center ice! For those Iowa hockey regulars, you will also see our logo in a couple locations along the boards at Des Moines Buccaneers hockey games this winter, and we are happy to be entering into our 2nd season as an official partner of the Bucs!

Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon is an event held on the campuses of Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa, and several private colleges and universities throughout Iowa. Dance Marathon asks students to dance, move, and do everything except sit down in order to support the Children’s Miracle Network and the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. The funds raised by this organization helps to aid children with life-threatening diseases (and their families). Laser Resources is proud to be associated with this fantastic organization. In 2012, we even held a fun printer smash to raise fund for Dance Marathon! You can see some of the videos below:

Iowa State Cyclones

The closest state university to Des Moines is Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Laser Resources is owned by two ISU graduates and is now entering our 2nd full year of partnership with Cyclone Sports Properties. For all of you sports fans, perhaps you’ve seen our logo across the giant video board at Jack Trice Stadium, or maybe inside Hilton Coliseum at men’s/women’s basketball game, volleyball game, or wrestling meet?

Hoyt Sherman Place

This year we’re excited to have partnered with the historic Hoyt Sherman Place, an incredible theater and performance hall near downtown Des Moines. This historic landmark hosts musical performances, theatrical shows, dance recitals, famous comedians, and much more. You can find our logo in the nightly programs. You can even win a free print equipment assessment by checking out the ad:

Youth Homes of Mid-America

The Youth Homes of Mid-America works to ensure that at-risk children and teenagers get a second chance with proper guidance and education. This organization is a wonderful asset for central Iowa and Laser Resources is happy to donate printing services and the time of our President and CEO Bob Lashier, who serves on the YHMA Board of Directors.

IHSAA, IGHSAU, and Local High Schools

Laser Resouces is also fortunate to be partnered with the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. We regularly support the two organizations through printing services for various state tournaments and competitions. We also have worked with the Activities Directors of local high schools like Johnston High School, West Des Moines Valley High School, and Des Moines Lincoln High School to support student activities and student athletes.
